Re: Dr. Douglas Zipes research
Dear American Heart Association,
You have received letters from me before. Today I am writing to request that you issue a public statement regarding the flaws in Dr. Douglas Zipes research. These gaps are ‘deadly’ as Canadians have found out. Dr. Zipes research omits to test Tasers on subjects that are under the influence of drugs and alcohol, and especially drugs that are known to prolong the QT interval (see www.qtdrugs.org). This is a ‘deadly’ gap in this clinical research.
Further you will know that I identified a ‘deadly’ gap in the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) algorithm (i.e. lack of advanced vascular access) which may also contributing to resuscitation failure leading to premature and preventable death.
