Stakeholder Submissions – Consequential amendments to the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II

The Policy, Regulation and Research Division (“PRRD”) presented three Discussion Papers to the Policy and Practice Consultative Committee, posted them on the WorkSafeBC website, and distributed the website link directly to over 10,000 subscribers of WorkSafeBC’s Policy, Regulation and Research Update email distribution list, for information and comment.

Overall, stakeholders expressed support for the proposed amendments to the Prevention Manual, the Assessment Manual, and the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II, consequential to implementing the Workers Compensation Act, R.S.B.C. 2019, c. 1, which came into effect on April 6, 2020.

The PRRD received two submissions on the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II consultation: one from an individual worker and one from an independent perspective. This document is a reproduction of the stakeholder comments.
